After an attempt at embarrassing former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich in light of his admitted affairs and multiple failed marriages, during an appearance at the University of Pennsylvania Tuesday evening, Gingrich remained calm and spoke directly to his provoker, Isabel Friedman, a student and President of the Penn Democrats, saying “”I’ll bet almost everybody here can gather the thrust of your question,” he said. “I appreciate the delicacy and generosity in the way it was framed. … I hope you feel better about yourself.”
