I want to apologize for all of my users for the lack of me updating in at least a month’s time. I won't deprive you all of an update that long again, unless I give a good reason! Want to make your subject(s) pop out? Read on! 1. Open your document into Photoshop CS3, CS4, or CS5. 2. Duplicate your background layer and change the name of it to 'Base' (optional) 3. Reselect your background layer and go to Edit - Fill, fill the Background layer to white or black or any color you prefer. Here I will be using the basic white. 4. Go to your 'Base' layer and duplicate that layer and rename it 'Outline' (optional) 5. Select your Quick Selection Tool and have the settings as follows: a) Diameter: 30 px (depending on the size of your subjects, the diameter may be lowered) b) Hardness: 0% c) Spacing: 25% d) Angle: 0 e) Roundness: 100% *MAKE SURE THE BOX BESIDE "AUTO-ENHANCE" IS CHECKED* 6. While on the OUTLINE layer, begin selecting your subject(s). Note: If you make a booboo, you can use the "Subtract Selection Tool" to fix any mistakes. Just make sure you don't go too close to the selected areas for you will delete them and we don't want that. 7. Choose your Selection tool and right-click inside of your selection when finished and choose "Select Inverse". This will select the rest of the image. 8. Select your Eraser tool and select the size 300 for easier erasing. Begin erasing all around your subject(s) until satisfied. When you finish erasing, check the thumbnail of that layer ...
