HD [[we take our miracles where we find them.]] Libby was never supposed to be mine. Receiving her as the wonderful, amazing, sometimes extremely frustrating gift was something I never could have imagined happening. She’s my miracle(: [[and sometimes, against all odds, against all logic, we touch.]] Getting her was only the beginning. I know everyone says this, but it is extremely true in our case; no one believed we could jump. No one believed we could even run barrels. Everyone thought she would just be my "backyard first horse" and I would eventually sell her and get an expensive horse. HA! I had a girl in my 4H group walk up to me at a show (before I rode English) and she literally said, "Wow.. she's really short.. too bad you cant jump. My horse is 17hh and we already jump two feet." Haters gon' hate I guess.. she doesn't own the horse, she rides once every two weeks, and doesn't even jump yet... fdsklhflksja. That's one of the things that lit a fire under my butt to tell me — you want to jump and she just shot down your dream.. you cant let her do that. I was too afraid to tell my parents I wanted to jump out of the blue after 9 years of training in western, but I eventually did it. Fast forward 6 months and here I am—jumping 3'6" on my 14.3hh "first backyard horse."
