Golgorand Execution Site is quite harder than most other battles. You have eight enemies, including Gafgarion, and your characters are separated into two groups. That’s a pain. There are two (female) archers, three monks, two time mages, and Gafgarion as a dark knight. The knights from vanilla were replaced with these monks. I came in this battle with one set strategy in mind. This is one of the few battles where enemies start really close to you, which is perfect for the Ochu to use Bad Breath. This can definitely prove very helpful. I had Sara as a priest, because healing/raising might end up very important here, with summon magic secondary for its power and versatility (Golem, Fairy, Bahamut...). Ramza was a geomancer with white magic. I wasn't too sure what direction to take with Ramza. I initially wanted him to just be tanky (either a class like monk with Equip Armor, or a class that can use heavy armor by default), since Gafgarion always goes for Ramza, but I decided to go with some offense with status effects (the geomancy stuff) and healing capabilities. Seijin is a huge powerhouse with Draw Out, and I had The Man as a monk to use Chakra to heal MP and other basic support. This battle can be difficult. But it ended up the complete opposite. I totally, utterly annihilated the opposition, it's not even funny. Why? I just got... lucky. Ramza giving status effects with Elemental, the Ochu's Bad Breath giving pretty much the deadliest status effects everytime. This is ...
