Academic and author Laura Penny’s latest book is "More Money Than Brains: Why School Sucks, College is Crap, and Idiots Think They're Right", in which she laments the state of education in North American. Specifically, she dislikes the way that science and technology are being valued more than arts and humanties and also that students are being pushed into certain majors purely to give them the best chance of finding a job.
