When the ship reached Panama it no longer had internet capability due to it being configured for the Pacific. It will need to be outfitted for the Atlantic so we are out of luck. This is a different life for sure. Walt mentions how hot it is but I've felt it to be perfect or a little cool with the winds even at 88 degrees. I have my "sea legs" as Walt terms it, ie, no more sea sickness which is great after the rough seas going from the c**** to Cartegena. The bow sprit was going up and down anywhere from 5 feet to 17 feet. The ocean seems no different than being on Lake Michigan. Some mild white caps and disorganized waves. We have had to motor along slowly due to the fact that we are heading eastwardly into the wind. We are a day behind schedule and the captain apologized at dinner saying we will need to eliminate one of the planned stops — Jost van dyke island. No matter.
