## Shot 10/20/2009. ## A South Florida war veteran is speaking out after having trouble riding the local county bus with his service dog. Disabled war veteran Arthur Schwartz doesn’t have a car and can't drive in part. because of his disability. Instead, he rides the county buses throughout Miami-Dade to get his destination. His service dog is always by his side. 'It's a real injustice and the sad part is, I know it's not just me,' said Schwartz. He said he is having difficulty getting on Miami-Dade County buses because of his dog. Inevitably, he is allowed to board, because he is protected by the American With Disabilities Act. What makes Schwartz's case unique, is that his disability is not apparent to the naked eye. He is not blind and he does not need a wheel chair. Schwartz has post traumatic stress disorder.
