Reince Priebus, chairman of the Republican National Committee weighed in on Fox and Friends, called that statement code for raising taxes, without having to make the tough choices to shrink government and cut spending. Priebus said that even the Democrats didn’t want to vote for Obama's budget, and the president has "launched our country on a trajectory that under his policies will eventually accumulate more debt that every single president before him combined." Priebus countered criticism that it's not the economy that the president inherited that's the problem, but rather the policies he's implemented.
