This is a how-to on polishing and bulling your army boots. This is one of hundreds of ways to polish boots, i just find this method easier and less time and money consuming. With more experience, it will take less time to do this method, but if your new to cadets, i would advise you do this at least two hours before parade in the evening, or when on camps, do this in the evening free time, if you are in a billet (Dormitary, you wouldnt polish your boots out in the field!) YOU WILL NEED 1. Off Brush 2. Kiwi Black Polish 3. Toothbrush to do the welts 4. Duster 5. Boots x2 6. Lighter (Optional) 7. Lots of patience Step 1. Unlace your boots. this helps when using the off brush, applying polish to the hessain parts and the front of the top, and makes it easier to clean that area in general. Step 2. Use your off brush to remove all the dust and debris from your boots. Do this in a rough manner all over the boot, except for the welts. Step 3. Use your toothbrush. Dab it into the polish until theres alot of polish on the brush hairs, and rub all over the welts of the boots. This revives the welts their black colour, enhancing their appearance for inspection and parade. Make sure to brush under the boot aswell, in the higher up, middle part of the sole. Also try to manually remove any dirt and stones from your soles. Step 4. Wet your duster with HOT water and then squeeze the water out, so it is not too dry, and not too wet.
