Yes ladies and gentle men it was my birthday on Friday. Pom Yii Sip Jet! (In Thai means: I am 27). And I celebrated it the way any 27 year old would celebrate his birthday- by getting completely, uncontrollably.....stuffed! My birthday weekend was spent here in Bangkok and I think I ate about 20 kilos worth of food everyday; the way a true birthday should be spent. After school and the gym on Friday, Lauren and I headed to a place called ZENSE (www.zensebangkok.com) for some sushi and an amazing view. Zense is located at the 17th floor of CentralWorld Mall- the largest mall in Southeast Asia. Its located right in the heart of Bangkok and has an amazing view of the city. Lauren and I were able to pull the 'birthday card' and secure a seat right outside on the deck. After stuffing our face with Sushi and eating a banging little birthday cake that Lauren snuck in for me, we headed to the ZENSE outdoor bar to tie a few more on. After our food had settled and we were good and relaxed, we headed to a street off Sukhumvit in downtown Bangkok called Nana. Nana is lined with many different types of bars and restaurants.
