Gordita is a petite brown tabby with very beautiful markings and green eyes. She was owner surrendered with a calico cat named Peekaboo because the owner couldn’t keep them. Gordita is currently at risk of euthanasia and urgently needs adoption or rescue. She likes to talk and express herself. She was a little shy and timid at first in the shelter but always comes to the door of her cage for attention. She loves having her head scratched first along the side, and will nuzzle your hand for petting. She likes to jump into your lap. She usually prefers human attention than playing with toys, but is playful too. The shelter is stressful for little Gordita, and she is reacting to other cats. She will most likely blossom once outside the shelter environment and in a home environment. The former owner said that Gordita is an Indoor Only cat. Gordita will do best in a calm home without children.
