## Shot 07/03/2010. ## BRADFORD, N.H. — After years of trying to deal with geese and the mess they create, some residents at Lake Todd in Bradford had enough and hired experts to round them up and gas them.  Homeowners said they woke up every morning to pounds of goose waste that they had to shovel off their sandy beaches. "It’s very difficult to wake up every morning and have pounds of goose poop we have to pick up," said resident Dick Matte. "I have young kids," said resident Lynn Mountford. "I didn't want them playing in goose poop. It's very unsanitary." The problem with the overpopulated, overaggressive geese had become so bad that one couple on the lake had enough. Other residents said the couple called federal wildlife experts to have 21 geese rounded up by boat, put in cages and gassed to death. "We witnessed them herding the last family toward the nets to be gassed," said resident Tracy Quigley. Quigley took pictures of the process.
