The marine layer is simply entrenched over the Bay Area up to nearly 3,000 deep with areas of drizzle or even some light rain possible as well at times, especially overnight and early morning near the coast and inner bay. We should slowly, and let’s emphasize slowly start to warm up early this week as the marine layer starts to compress down keeping most of the cooler air near the coastline allowing our inland areas to see highs returning to the upper 70s to low 90s by midweek. Its looking like Thursday and Friday will be the warmest days with some low 90s possible well inland. - Rob Mayeda
