Two competing visions of solitude inhabit Akron/Family’s newest video for "Island".  To breezy blasts of pastoral pop humidity, the video's subject finds herself alone in two settings; one hectic, man-made and highly pressurized. The other is a more natural setting, comfortably shot somewhere by the seaside. Which would you prefer? The video is the band's third from their newest album S/T II: The Cosmic Birth and Journey of Shinju TNT, and it's gorgeous images can be credited to director Daniel Michael Gahr.
