TI, Ciara To 'Turn Up The Vote' At Summit TI, Ciara, Flo Rida and Jim Jones are among the artists heading to the Hip-Hop Team Vote: Turn Up The Vote summit in Philadelphia on Sunday (April 20) to emphasize the importance of the youth vote. Sponsored by The Hip-Hop Summit Action Network, Hip-Hop Research and Education Fund and PowerPAC, the event will take place at Temple University just in time for the Pennsylvania primary on April 22. Mike Jones, Rich Boy, Styles P, Chrisette Michele, Lyfe Jennings, Webbie, Lil X, Green Lantern, Gorilla Zoe, Lil Boosie, Alexis y Fido, O'Neal McKnight and Emily King are among the other artists who are confirmed to participate in Sunday's event. We are going to encourage young people to go out to vote, TI said via a statement. I personally know the value of having the right to vote and it taken away from you, but I will add my voice to help inspire others to take seriously this right and responsibility.
