A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to KO Lanta island, Krabi, Thailand by TravelPod blogger Simplifie1 titled "Jellyfish in the sea" Simplifie1’s travel blog entry: "We spent yesterday exploring "four islands" to the south of Ko Lanta island, snorkeling and swimming around several small islands. At the third island, a cave called Emerald Cove was heavily guarded by a hundred strong army of fingernail sized jelly fish, stinging each of us at will, but we were assured they were "non toxic". After swimming into a cave, we used a flashlight to illuminate the stalagtites growing from the ceiling of the cavern, following our guide through the 90 meters to the otherside that opened up to a sandy beach surrounded by towering limestone cliffs. It was an adventure, but at least the winds were not as strong as the day before when the longtail boat had taken on water. The snorkeling was excellent, dozens of schools of fish of all colors, shapes and sizes, plus awesome coral added to the experience. Today we started off with a massage, the mroe beach time as G needs to finish her bronze tanning. We have three more days of this and then everyone will have to hear about these experiences in person because we have to return home soon.
