I also got to play a little basketball. The game is a bit different here, but it's still a lot of fun. On my way to the internet cafe I saw and old woman (hunched, cane, all that jazz) spit on the sidewalk. That entertained me. You rarely see that in the States. Maybe in Vegas sometimes. Something else that you don't see in the States is women breast feeding in public: in a park, on a bus, standing on the street. You know you live in a pretty conservative society when it's socially unacceptable to feed your baby in public. Personally, I'd rather see that than, say, my buddy Cliff eating - giant hunks of meat hanging from his face, his jowls flopping around, debris raining down onto the plate. But maybe that's just me. When I was in Italy a few years ago I was walking down a small street and saw a woman sitting on the sidewalk breast feeding. It was the first time I had seen such a thing. I guess I stared for a moment too long and the woman yelled at me. She didn't scream for me to look away. She tried to charge me a Euro for what I had just seen. I told her it would have been worth the $1, but there was a baby attached to it. We're pen pals now. I've posted various photos from around town. Hope you all enjoy."
