My attempt at something simple and inspiring, the only place I could possibly see it used is as a Service Opener getting the people inspired and ready to praise and worship God. Most of the motion graphic work done is in the beginning and end titles. The rest is a crazy amount of colour correction on some stock footage I found around the web (Thanks Brad @ ChurchMediaDesign.tv). Then the usual matching text to audio track work, which looks and is easy but takes a ridiculously long time to do! The backing track is a stock sound I found mixed with various quotes from sermons I found by Ps. Aaron Halvorson, Ps. Pauline Halvorson and James Gamble, I also modified the sound to make it less "ordinary". Time Taken: 2 days but could have been 1 if I wasn’t trying to run after effects on 1GB 2.26Ghz laptop. That is just a testament to the fact that you can use the little seeds God gives you to make Giant trees (if you have a lot of patience) hopefully God is also preparing me for the 27" iMac he will eventually bless me with. (hint, hint). Credits: Concept and Production by Franky Chanyau. Final composite of footage and music (including colour correction, titles, syncing text to track) by Franky Chanyau. In After Effects and SoundBooth Music: "Your body in the dark" by Menion Vocals: Ps. Aaron Halvorson, Ps. Pauline Halvorson and James Gamble.
