The organizer of a giant downtown rave that was busted last night is in hot water after the city says he put hundreds of lives in danger. Over 700 people, some of them under aged teens, were packed in a building at 610 Central WS when police busted it up. A 17 year old girl was so drunk she had to be taken home to her parents. "It was apparent to me that this was a place I would not want my daughters to go to," said Albuquerque Public Safety Spokesman TJ Wilham. Michael Gibson works in the area and says saw several under aged girls skimped down for the event. "They had underwear, they had like fishnets a lot and just really brightly colored skirts and what-not," he said. Considering how many people he saw, he’s not surprised police showed up. "There was a guy across the street who was saying that it was going to get busted in the next hour he thought," said Gibson. When investigators arrived, they found a line out the door in the alley - inside people we're packed in like sardines. It was a safety nightmare being extremely over capacity in a room with exposed wiring and only one way out. "We have seen it time and time again across this country where parties without proper fire inspection, codes and permits have had a fire break out and a disaster and tragedy," said Wilham. Those who attended had to pay a $35 cover - authorities say many were confused and angered during the bust because they thought their rights were being violated. Police say the party organizer Kenneth Pintor faces several criminal charges for hosting the rave without proper licensing or permits. "When we learn of one of these gatherings we will shut it it down, we will cite the owner, we will cite the organizer and we will see them in metropolitan court," said Wilham.
