At 6-foot-4 and 275 pounds, Morristown High School senior Nick Vena is a powerhouse. When he heads to college in Virginia this year, he leaves behind one of the most decorated track and field records in New Jersey history. Vena, who started throwing the shot put with his dad, Vic, when he was eight years old, will compete in his final Meet of Champions in Old Bridge Thursday, where he is widely expected to win for the fourth year in a row.
