Hi everyone and welcome to get the daily.com. I'm Andrea Rene and this is your entertainment update. No one can put baby in a corner, but something has put actor Patrick Swayze in bed. In a very sad announcement from his reps, it was disclosed that the 55 year old actor and former star of "Dirty Dancing" has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Its a fast moving, rare form of cancer where complete remission is all but impossible. But, his doctor has said Swayze has very limited amounts of cancer cells and appears to be responding well to treatment. Other notable roles for Patrick include his potrayal of a murdered man in the oscar nominated film, "Ghost" alongside Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. Today the trial begins for former private eye to the stars, Anthony Pellicano. He and his four co-defendants face over 100 charges all together, mainly consists of illegal wiretapping. 120 witness are being called by the prosecution and includes actors Sylvester Stallone, Farah Fawcett and even comedian Chris Rock. Pellicano is also accused of bribing police officers and phone company workers to run illegal background checks on some of his targets. This private eye has worked for the lawyers of a-list stars such as Tom Cruise, John Travolta, and even Michael Jackson. It was reported that many of Pellicano's client claim they didn't know about his devious tactics, but then again they hired a private eye and probably wouldn't admit it, even if they knew. His trial is expected to last around 10 weeks and I'll have updates as they become available.
