Former Chief Vigilance Commissioner P J Thomas, whose appointment to the post was declared illegal by the Supreme Court, on Wednesday (July 13) filed a petition in the Delhi High Court seeking directions to the government to not finalise the appointment of the new CVC till President Pratibha Patil decides his representation.
