Campbell Soup Company (NYSE:CPB) will outline a new strategic direction today at a meeting with investors, which will be led by COO Denise Morrison. Morrison will become the company’s President and CEO on August 1.Morrison said, "During the past nine months, Campbell's new leadership team has worked closely with the Board of Directors on a comprehensive strategic review in which we have examined our business with fresh eyes, and charted a new course for our company. Our central mission and overarching priority is long-term value creation for our shareholders. We believe that the strategic transition we are announcing today will set the stage for a new chapter of profitable net sales growth and sustainable growth in total shareholder returns."Campbell Soup has a potential upside of 1.1% based on a current price of $34.61 and an average consensus analyst price target of $35.
